Tab Trade — The Short Version
TabTrade opened in March 2026. CFD broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, the well-known broker.
The BlackBull connection matters. It suggests the person running this knows how a proper broker operates. Does not guarantee anything. But more reassuring than someone with no brokerage experience.
The broker opened with Equinix data centre access in London. Same infrastructure institutional desks use. Most new brokers leads with marketing and bonuses. These guys did the opposite. Not the typical playbook.
The instrument list: FX, stock indices, metals, commodities, stock CFDs, crypto, ETFs. A wide spread. For a broker that is a few months old, that coverage is not narrow.
Platforms
They offer: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and a WebTrader. Two major platforms from a single account. Many pick one platform. Access to both makes a difference. Use whichever you prefer.
MT5 is what most people know. Full charting, automated trading, huge user base. If you have used MT4 or MT5 before, there are no surprises.
cTrader is the more modern one. Better depth of market. Faster charting. cBot support. Many people find it more natural once they try it.
Direct FIX connectivity is there for bots but is only on the VIP tier ($25,000 deposit). TradingView charting is said to be coming. That would be a good addition when it lands.
Accounts and Pricing
Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. Zero commission. Easy to track. $0 to start. Works for people who want simple pricing.
Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On majors, the raw spread is often a fraction of a pip. So your all-in cost can sit below 0.5 pips. That is hard to beat for a broker with $0 to start. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. TabTrade requires zero deposit.
VIP. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, sub-20ms execution, tailored rates. Not for typical accounts. Do not worry about it unless you run serious volume.
Infrastructure
The speed is the area where TabTrade stands apart. Equinix data centres. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. Those are proper execution targets. The average platform quote a much wider range.
Does it matter? If you trade small timeframes, yes. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is the difference between. If you hold positions longer, you probably will not feel it. What matters is the infrastructure is there. That is what kind of broker this is.
Put together that infrastructure with the Edge account pricing and what you get makes sense. Not many platforms in this bracket run Equinix connectivity.
The FSRA Question
Now, the part you need to be straight about. The broker is under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No CySEC. No fund protection scheme. If that is a dealbreaker, look elsewhere. There are ASIC-licensed brokers out there.
That said. The person running it came from BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure is not cheap. Fly-by-night platforms do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. None of this guarantee anything. It does factor into your decision.
The trade-off: you trade regulatory safety. In exchange: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether that is worth it is your call.
The Bonus
Tab Trade runs a deposit bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Typical deposit match. You fund your account, TabTrade credit extra capital. Usual conditions attached: trading volume requirements before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Check the terms before you commit.
